The EU furniture and sleep sectors are key drivers of sustainable growth with a significant contribution to economic health, competitiveness, creativity, innovation, employment and export. This Partnership proposes the creation of a flexible learning pathway in line with the needs of learners and companies in the furniture, sleep and related sectors, a training program between VET, HE and economic actors that will improve enterprise’s innovation, expertise and added value.
It was first meeting so all partners presented their organizations. Each partner presented their history and the expertise of their institutions, as well as their experience with Erasmus+ projects and the reason for which they had joined the project consortium. They talked about learning by means of virtual reality is real news in upholstery and furniture ergonomics. It's a useful and attractive approach, but ERGOSIGN project proposal has experienced a drastic cut of the budget, so project consortium has to carefully think of what partners should do in order to ensure quality, but still stay in the budget.
There was prepared dissemination plan which identify the target audiences and the stakeholders, the project outcomes and outputs that are relevant to them, and the ideal messaging and activities to facilitate their dissemination. At the end project partners decided on earliest activities that had to be done and accepted that the next project meeting will be organized in Spain on June 2016.
